Green Business Joomla 2.5 Template

2.5

You probably know our popular eBusiness template, that was designed in a blue color scheme. Because one of our users requested this template in a green version, we decide to make a new color scheme for the template and also add some other features. Now users are able to enable and disable jQuery javascript, scroll to top button, superfish effect navigation menu, custom image and text logo, site description. Everything managed very easily from the template parameters.

We made this template for company and corporate websites, but it was used for a wide range of projects including photography, portfolio, city tour, and many others. Modify, edit and adapt this professional template to suit your design and project needs. If you have any question regarding this template, feel free to comment, and I will try to assist you. Good luck!

Thank you, that will help a bunch. One question still unanswered, how do I switch my current 1.6 template over to this 2.5 template without it breaking the site. I tried to switch to the 2.5 blue template and everything was all discombobulated and looks terrible. Thanks.

-Lance

If you made modifications on the Joomla 1.6 template, then you have to apply them to the new Joomla 2.5 template.

Joomla 2.5 templates are compatible with 1.6 and 1.7 versions, but it may have some minor differences.

The core of this template is almost the same as the Joomla 1.6 version and the module positions as well.

Basically, if you did not made any changes on the old template, it may work perfectly with this one…

Hello again,

I’ve gotten the 2.5 green template installed and switched over to it, everything looks fine except for the fonts, the headline and time fonts are all blocking and pixelated, but they were not under the 1.6 template. Any ideas? Did I miss a setting?

-Lance

The new version of the template is using a new font style from Google Font directory. You can edit the styles.css file to change the font style for your preferences.

We keep getting closer and closer.

How can I reinstate the blocked look featured articles when displayed on a page? 1.6 had it, 2.5 does not.

Also, the drop down menus are only working for one level and I need them to got at least one more level. Am I missing something or is this not an option with this template?

-Lance

The blocked look is not available on this template.
The menu has 3 levels, you have to add submenus and set up the menu correctly. Check out the tutorial section for a quick guide.

Hi Admin.!
Iam a bit new to Joomla CMS..i realy like this template but can is it possible increase the size of the logo space and replace it with banner of my own size? Also on the Left and Right component..is it possible to add a vertical line that may help to separate it with the main component to may great look?
Note: I can post a website design for your review which i really like its design if you allow me. Thanks

    Hello Nelson,
you can resize the logo and add vertical lines on the left and right side of the component. Everything can be done by editing the styles.css file.
at line 28 please edit the .logo{} to change the spacing and size
at line 84 please edit the #comp_60 {} to add the left and right borders.

Hi,
how do I change the logo?
I tried Modules: New, Custom HTML.
Typed in some text, and sett a background image to an uploaded image.
Then set position to ‘logo’.
It still displays ‘eBusiness’.
Thanks.

We have changed this on the new templates. Now you can add the logo from the template parameters. You can choose to display text or image logo. If you choose to display image logo you can upload your own logo image to the server.

Hi,

how can i change the color of the left menu? Now they are green, but we want to change to a different color.

hope to hear from you.

Colors can be changed in the styles.css file. The left menu color code can be changed at around line 185. Looks like this:
    #sidebar .module ul.menu li a {}
here you have to edit the color:#999
