Light Simple Joomla 2.5 Template

Preview Download

Need a clean, simple and light design for your Joomla 2.5 website? Here is this elegant template that may suit your needs. The template uses our popular slideshow module, you may download and install it to your website, to have the same effects like on our demo page. Because the template use only few small size images, it loads really fast and requires less server resource as well. The drop down menu and links are using CSS3 hovering effects; this works on all major web browsers, but it may not work on older IE versions. The purple links and headings can be changed by editing the styles.css file, and the logo may be changed in the backend, using the template parameters. Hope you enjoy this simple and stylish design.

Cant get this template to install on a J2.5 install… Have tried couple of times with no success… BIG shame as this looks like a great template.

1. How do I change the Lighty Logo to my logo?
2. How do I activate the Menu top right?

    1. You can change the logo by overwriting the logo.png located in the template’s images folder or you can upload a new logo from the template parameters. This template allows you to use text logo instead of image logo as well. Everything can be done from the administration panel, using the template’s parameters.

    2. Activate a Menu module on the position ‘menu’ and publish it on all pages. For activating sub-menus, please follow this tutorial.

Great template!
Nice and clear template, simple and well structured.
Sin, however, that one can not choose the width of the columns and in particular the right and one can not move it at the left column.
Instead you use a style truly appreciated.

Nice templates! but why i need to manually add new module to have mainmenu etc only logo its appear.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Well you have to add new modules because this is how Joomla works. We do not provide quick install. Sorry.

I keep getting error message when i publish the slideshow Warning: include_once(/homepages/11/d170555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/templates/system/html/modules.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/11/d170555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php on line 186

    Hello, this problem may not come from our module. We are using this module on our demo pages and works fine. Maybe there is PHP or Joomla version issue.

    This error means that a file may missing in the system template, that is not used by our slideshow. What template do you use?
    Please provide with more information, maybe I will be able to help you.

my joomla version is 2.5.1 and my php version is 5
when i hit preview that the message i got Warning: include_once(/homepages1/111/d1705555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/templates/system/html/modules.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages1/111/d1705555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php on line 186

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/homepages1/111/d1705555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/templates/system/html/modules.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5′) in /homepages1/111/d1705555632/htdocs/joomla2.5/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php on line 186

    It looks like some folders / files are missing from your server. This is not an issue that is caused by our module.
    Try to reinstall your Joomla 2.5 system. Please backup the old installation if you already started working on it.

    Please deactivate all modules and extensions and take a look to a Singe Article layout. Maybe other extension is the problem, or as I told the installation was not made correctly.

I open styles.css file with notepade++. Please tell me what lines I have to change and what parameters have to type.

    You need tables in your content and want to add a style to them? Or what tables you want to change? This template is not using tables, the whole layout is built with CSS. I can’t understand what you want to change.

Hye, again just found this error on IE9 the drop down menu is behind the slideshow.. How to solved it?

    In styles.css change the z-index of #navr from 99 to 9999. This should fix the problem.
    You can find the code at around line 45.

    #navr { margin:0 auto; position: absolute; z-index:99; height:80px; top:-20px; right:0;}

Yes I have re-installed joomla2.5 and is it working fine for now.

I already change the z-index of #navr from 99 to 9999 but the problem still occur.. Now It’s ok.. just click Compatibility View.. SOLVED.. TQ
